Guest Lecture and AGM


I'm delighted to announce that Professor Danielle Turney will be giving a Guest Lecture on 'Using relationships to make a difference' at the Child Care in Practice Annual General Meeting on 26th September.

Danielle Turney is Professor of Social Work at Queen’s University Belfast. Her teaching and research interests focus primarily on child welfare and protection, with particular reference to child neglect; relationship-based practice; and the role of critical thinking, analysis and professional judgement in social work assessment and decision-making. She has published in all these areas, with recent work including the second edition of Relationship-Based Social Work: Getting to the heart of practice, co-edited with Gillian Ruch and Adrian Ward.

This event will take place in Lecture Theatre G26, 6 College Park, School of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work, Queens University Belfast.
